There’s lots to see and learn about at events in libraries in Oadby & Wigston this month.
War veterans can bring their photos, films, badges and Royal British Legion memorabilia to Oadby Library and Wigston Magna Library to discuss the fascinating stories behind these objects with a historian.
These free workshops, which take place between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday 9th March (Oadby) and between 3pm and 6pm on Tuesday 22nd March (Wigston), are part of a landmark project, led by Leicestershire County Council, designed to mark the 90th anniversary of the Legion.
